Located about 3 miles north of Dallas, the Park Cities are not actually one city, but two. They are both largely residential, and everyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area knows them by the name "Park Cities". The two cities are Highland Park and University Park.
The Park Cities are hallmarked by their stunning beauty. They include woods and creeks, numerous parks, and gorgeous landscaping throughout the neighborhoods.
Known also for the community wealth and old-fashioned values, the gorgeous natural setting is settled by equally gorgeous homes and very high-quality schools. Average SAT scores in the Park Cities are 1165, and students excel in every kind of testing standards.
Although the homes in the Park Cities are expensive, you could hardly make a better investment in real estate. Demand is extremely high here, and continues to push home values upwards because there is relatively little room here for the many who would like to live here. Current home values average around $247 per square foot, but all indications suggest that buying today means selling for much more in the future … if you would ever want to leave.
So, if you're looking for posh living with elegant retail shopping and quality dining experiences available throughout the area, the Park Cities offer you just that. And with Dallas so nearby, you know that you have just about everything in the world at your fingertips.
