Located just 25 miles outside of both Dallas and Fort Worth, Southlake is near the heart of it all while providing upscale, suburb living for those who prefer it.

A smaller town in comparison to these two larger brothers, Southlake has a population of around 25,000. It boasts a high quality of life, safe neighborhoods, and an educated workforce. In fact, 40% of Southlake residents have an undergrad degree, and nearly 20% have graduate degrees. 55% of the workforce holds managerial or professional positions, and the average household income in Southlake is around $150,000.

In 1998, the town broke ground on a new, 130-acre development called Southlake Town Square, which will truly be the place to meet and enjoy it all. It will include "retail, office, restaurants, entertainment, housing, a hotel and civic institutions including a post office, town hall, and library." (Details here.) Although much of the development is complete, there is still more underway as of 2004.

With fantastic shopping and eating experiences available and events year 'round, Southlake offers plenty for the demanding consumer. There are also parks, lakes, golf courses, and plenty of sports for the kids to take part in. Even the schools are rated "exemplary." In short, Southlake is an ideal location for those who demand quality all around.
